relocating an aluminum screen room

I am moving from one single wide to another. My current home has a very nice and large screen room- all aluminum.I would like to relocate it to my new home.
Has anyone had any experience with this? I know that when mobile homes are moved, things like screen rooms have to be disconnected and then reattached.
A friend told me I would have to cut off the roof panels about 3-4 inches from the side of the home to take them off. This seems like alot of work.
Any feedback would be appreciated |

| If you are located in a wind zone like Florida you can get in a real mess. If a permit is required it's almost certain that they won't issue you a permit to move it. They will require engineering plans to show that it will meet a certain wind level and normally the plans aren't available on older porches. Now if it can be done without a permit.... |
