I am new to bring a mobile home owner. I have had different stories about installing a glass tile backsplash. One side says that because of the climate and conditions, ( the home is set up on cement pilings in Michigan, or so I have been told) the home will flex with the weather changes. The home is brand new and is built with more solid construction than I have ever seen in a mobile. All walls have drywall, the front door is solid wood, etc.

My question is, can I install glass tile for a backsplash, while providing "breaks" where needed to allow flex. Is there a grout or caulk that I can use to seal it? Etc...
