Should I move Manufactured Home to lot so I can sell it?

We are planning to build where our manufactured house now sits. I was thinking of buying a city lot to move MH to and live in it while we build, then sell the MH on the city lot once we are done.

Is this a good idea or should we just try to sell the MH to be moved?

I think you have to look at what the market is for mobiles on city lots. If housing is scarce in your area then I bet you would get a good price. If housing is in good supply and inexpensive then it might be a different matter. Since you are going to put it on a city lot anyway, just try to sell it that way to see what happens. The reaction you get or don't get from buyers will give you the answer.
