Wallpapering Vinyl coated drywall

We have considered painting the walls but would prefer to paper the wals in our MH - does anyone have any advice for doing this - appreciate any comments

I have heard others say you have to use special glue and all of that. I don't know. I have only wallpapered one wall, the hallway because I took the strip up down the center and ended up tearing the wall covering enough to make it noticeable. I used the paintable wallpaper to cover up the mess. It was pre-pasted. I wet it and hung it as directed and it was up there for about 3 years with no problems. I removed it because I couldn't stand looking at it anymore! LOL
