Relocating a Mobile Home $$$?

Posted by lulugirl (My Page) on

Does anyone have any ideas how much moving a mobile home (single wide) from AZ to SC might cost? I am just looking for a ball park, it is about 2000 miles.
Thanks in advance

Anywhere fron $2 to $5 a mile. Because of the width (over 102" wide) you would need permits for all the states you travel through.

I realize this thread is old, but wanted to post anyway. My fiance & I are soon going to have a 14x80 (maybe 16x80) SW moved approx. 8 miles, all in the country in MO and it is going to cost us $1700. That includes them doing everything: putting on axles, moving, setting up, etc... But, I can't imagine how much your situation would cost, I think I might just buy a new SW or DW instead.
