needing advise on painting mh walls

Hi. We are expecting our first baby in Aug. and live in a 2004 model single wide mh. I would love to paint the baby's nursery but do not know if paint will adhere to my walls. They are sort of "paper finished panels" (from the manufacturer) with strips covering where the sections meet. I am not concerned with removing the strips right away. . .just wondering if anyone else has tried to paint these types of walls before?? Thanks!!

sorry. . .I did see the other threads but I wasn't sure that all the wall types were the same as mine and I thought maybe if someone seen the year model and had painted one the same year model as mine they might know for sure if my walls were the same material. This is just my first time on here so again I am sorry for bothering you all.
