Modular Home in Virginia credit advice

I am looking at a Mod Home from Clayton Homes here in Virginia and due to some new law they can not tell me what Credit score is needed to get a low interest rate. They say I am very close but I am a list maker and extreme budgeter and a little obsessive about things when I want something. Can someone please tell me where my credit score needs to be to qualify for a low interest rate for a Mod Home from Clayton Mobile Homes. I already know...my income is acceptable..my debt to income is acceptable....the land I own keeps me from paying a down payment...but what I really need to know is what credit score to strive for? I am currently in the low 600's and I also know that Clayton primary looks at Transunion as it's credit score source and "Man that is the hardest one to raise for some reason"...Any advice is greatly appreciated. I would like to apply for my home in Spring 2015 if I am able. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make this happen. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Generally they would want "good" or better credit. Low 600s is considered "poor". Good is considered 650 and up. 720 Is where you start getting the best rates.

Thank you Christopher but I have been a member on Credit Karma for about 6 months and I am fighting with them right now becuase all my scores...Equifax, Experian, and Transunion are 614 up to 642 and Credit Karma has me at 591. I don't understand the way they determine their score, but I have recent credit reports from each credit company and Credit Karma isn't even close but they won't give me a clear reason why. I consider myself an intelligent woman and they just keep side steeping my straight up questoin..."Why are you showing a 591 when all 3 Reporting Agencies are reporting 614 and above"? If they would give me a straight answer I would give them credit for being a reliable source but as for now....I have to say I feel they are not reliable at all. I will strive for 720. At least that gives me a number to work towards. I thank you so much for your advice:)
