was given 1984 singlewide no title

| My Trailer park had closed in October 2008 and some of us were given the homes we were renting at the time. I recently found out that the home I was given that I had been living in nearly 3 years has no title... the VIN number brings up a different type/style than what it actually is. It shows as a "Benn" style when its a New Horizon. The data plate where the manufacturer name was is gone but the serial remains. Its a TWI and I dont know who made those. I need to get the title in my name BUT there is apparently a lien on it through a bank which no longer exists. How can I get the lien removed so the trailer can be bonded to my name??? Also the park owners were not given the title when the original owners gave it to them. |

| i have no idea but talk to another bank, they might be able to tell you how to approach the situation. did you move the home? some places will not allow you to move homes that are over 20 years old |
