 o
ceramic backsplash?

Has anyone ever put in a ceramic backsplash in their kitchen over the wallboard stuff in the mobile homes? I would like to do this to all the wall space between my cupboards & the counter top. I wasn't sure if it would stick well or any other problems it could cause. I have only tiled on the floors before so walls are a new one for me. Thanks, Terri

Terri,

If your wallboard has any "give" to it, replace it with a material that is more solid. Duroc, greenboard, plywood, or sheetrock. Greenboard is recommended for "wet areas". Use a mastic recommended for tile work and install just like you did the floor and grout as usual.

Thanks, I am sure it probably would have some give in it so if we do this we will replace with something 1st. Terri
