I would like to know how to reinsulate floors and walls. Also I plan to gut the bathroom and put in walk in shower, new vanity, medicine cabinate toilet and floor. Any suggestions, advice would be appreciated greatly.
There is currently a tub surround, looks to be one piece.
We are also taking panneling off...is sheet rock the replacement or wall board? Can insulation be put between 2x4 in wall behind new shower fixture?
Sorry to have so many questions but manuf. homes are new to me.
Thanks

Depending on how the exterior covering is attached, additional insulation may be easiest to do from the outside. No mess inside either. If aluminum attached with exposed screws, remove the screws and loosen the aluminum panels a few at a time. The top of the panel may be captured by the roofing and cannot be loosened. But insulation can be tucked up to the top anyway. Be careful not to compress the insulation as this lowers the effectiveness.
