| This is just a thought, because a modular home MIGHT be in our future, since we were introduced to it by a friend and they were a lot nicer than we had believed...
What exactly are the weight limits inside? My primary concern is, could a 280+ pound person and a 550lb baby grand piano comfortably co-exist in the same corner of a modular home without the floor bowing on even worse, caving in? And would that depend on what else is in the room? Thanks! |

| Modular homes are built EXACTLY like a "regular" house, because they are. They have the same (2x8 or 2x10) floor joists as a site built home. My modular has 2x10 joists as it's supporting a 300 lb woodstove. But if you want to be sure, just inform the dealer of your plans and they'll use the necessary joists when they build the house. |
