4" recessed lighting cans

We are doing a full gut/remodel of our kitchen & dining area. We're installing recessed can lighting and using the 4" EcoSmart LED bulbs from Home Depot.

The kitchen is on the first floor and we have a 2nd floor with no insulation between the floors, so I should be able to use just the standard cans (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Halo-4-in-Non-Insulation-Contact-New-Construction-Housing-H99TAT/100066352#.UqpobfRDvb8), but I'm wondering if there's any advantage to using the IC rated ones (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Halo-Air-Tite-4-in-Recessed-Housing-H99ICAT/100186076#.UqpozPRDvb8)?

We only have 8 to put in, so the price difference between the regular and the IC rated is about $40 difference total...I lean toward getting the IC rated ones, but wasn't certain if there's any other advantages or disadvantages that I should know about.
