Stainless steel vs White pot lights (recessed lights)

Posted by fromwithin (My Page) on

I am wondering if I should get stainless steel 3" pot lights throught the house or just the standard white ones?
We are looking to have a very modern house, and I know that both do look modern. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks

RE: Stainless steel vs White pot lights (recessed lights)

By "stainless steel" pots are you referring to specular aluminum reflectors in recessed light fixtures? By "white ones" do you mean the low budget plain metal recessed fixtures (non-reflector type) or white grooved baffles? I don't know, maybe some manufacturer makes a stainless steel reflector for corrosive environments. It might be better to use the manufacturer and model number.
