Replacing old ceiling cams

I have old 6 inch ceiling cams installed in several rooms of my house. They are the kind where a glass plate is installed over the opening to hide the bulb. They are also installed into a wood ceiling through 6 1/2 inch holes. I want to replace them for a number of reasons, one being that I do not like this glass plate. Covering over the ceiling where these cams are located with say wall board to disguise the size of these 6 1/2 inch holes is not an option. This wood is beautiful and aesthetically goes with the rest of the house. So I'm looking for new cams to fit the existing holes in the wood ceiling. I must be able to insulate right up to the cams and of course, I want to be able to accommodate energy efficient bulbs. Anyone with advice?
