| Not sure if this is the correct forum, but here goes! The trim in our shower ceiling light is old, and needs to be refinished. Can I just use steel wool on the old finish to rough it up a bit and then spray paint it bronze to match the other fixtures in the bathroom? |

| I don't see any reason why not. As long as the surface is prepared properly and you use a water proof paint, probably an enamel base, it should hold up. |
