I need to put a tubular solar light in an upstairs bathroom. Home Depot carries 'ODL' brand. I heard once, at a home show that some brands are not as good as others because they don't reflect as much light. Is this true> Would an ODL be sufficient? TY

Cant say about the ODL , but we put a "Solatube" in our downstairs bath, which had no windows, Plenty of light now and it even has a nite lite built into it. It is over a shower in the bathroom and really makes the shower cheerful. Solatube costs about $700 with light kit, and installation. Good luck!!! Gary

Thanks Gary- I would have liked a Solatube, but couldn't find one local without a long order time, so I bought a Velux yesterday at Lowe's. I can put a night light in it. It will be in a 7x12 ft bathroom, so should be enough. (the fancy one later when I get to build my 600sft house-I hope!!).
