| Even though the buzzing and color problems are overstated with modern fluorescent lighting systems, this would be a significant improvement if the price is right. One nice thing about these, as opposed to LEDs, is that a tube-shaped, drop-in replacement for fluorescent tubes would probably work fine since the light is probably emitted from a relatively broad surface rather than a point source. Even a flat panel could be installed in a troffer after gutting the reflectors. |
