Need advice for home theater lighting config please!

Hi all, my electrician is here doing rough-ins today and I still haven't decided on the lighting combination for the home theater. Any advice would be appreciated.

In the attached the upper left corner is the HT 14'x19'. Screen will be on the 14' wall at the top. The media rack is recessed into the back wall close to the double doors. No raised steps for the seating area since we need this room for movies, karaoke, gaming, etc. No stage in the front. There will only be one rectangular column on the right to hide two steel posts. The left column is drawn in but won't be built.

Current lighting plan:

1. Ceiling soffit 2' from each wall and will install Incandescent Rope light hidden behind the crown moulding : http://www.1000bulbs.com/category/blue-rope-light-retail-packs/

2. In the middle: 4 x 6" recessed can (CREE 6 LED with trim)

3. Two LED spotlights 1' from the screen wall for ambiance. Found this 3" LED remodel can and price and reviews look good:

Would 3" look too small? Is 280 Lumens enough for each light? Lowes has a similar one, a little more expensive, higher lumen but doesn't have the reflector and looks a little dull.

4. Two spotlights 1' from the back wall where we sit and also lights up the media rack. Same LED lights as front.

5. Wall scones about 1/3 from the front on either side? Or two, maybe three spotlights 1' from the side walls? I want to be flexible in case we want to put in either sound absorbing panels or wall arts on those side walls in the future. There will be something to light them up. The electrician recommended against having both scones and spotlights.

In terms of different functions of the home theater, which lights should be put on the same switches?
