| I installed several Cree LR6 lights last October (2009). They were the Edison base type and they had a green ground wire attached intended to attach to the fixture to ground the light.
I just got a bunch more (a year later) and they don't have that green ground wire attached. Is this a new change or a different version intended for a different market? |

| To answer my own question, I called CREE and they told me that UL determined the ground wire is no longer required. It saves at least 10 minutes on the installation process so I like the change. |
