We are thinking of replacing the single boob light in our kitchen. The biggest problem here is that there is no lighting above the stove, which you can't see very well in the picture because its right beside the refrigerator and honestly, cooking there is like cooking in a cave...I would assume....save for the above-stove microwave light. We have some improvised ikea spotlights that we're using about the stove now but we'd like a more unified solution that provides lighting for both the sink area and the stove area. We were thinking of using the existing box to install track lighting, perhaps one of those flexible ones, that would extend to the stove area maybe with spotlights that can be aimed towards the sink and a pendant for the peninsula (that's in front of the sink area, not pictured). We have a very tiny budget for this so something simple and inexpensive but that still looks nice would be preferred. I hope we're not asking too much. We would appreciate any suggestions! Thank you!
