I've been searching the net looking for possible reasons why my 120v under cabinet puck lights eat bulbs at a ridiculous rate. At $4 to $5 bucks per halogen bulb, I'm growing tired of replacing them so frequently. I would say that each bulb lasts only a few months, with a couple of pucks burning bulbs at a rate of once a month. I install the bulbs carefully with a napkin or microfiber cloth to prevent skin oil from contacting the glass. They are turned on and off usually once per day.
