Lighting an outdoor Christmas tree

Hi Folks,

It's been a dream of mine to light up the 40 ft Blue Spruce tree in our front yard for Christmas; sounds simple enough - but it's 40 ft tall! Any suggestions on type of light, pattern and HOW to do it to make it look spectacular? Oh yeah.....and I don't want to spend $1000. Just lights!

Thank you all,

Ron

Hi Ron. I'm not sure, but I would think lighting a 40 foot tall tree would cost more than what you want to spend. I don't know how to avoid this. Sorry. Maybe others will have some better suggestions or ideas.
