| My dining room has 10 foot ceilings. The dining room table is rectangular. Size of table is 7 feet 6 inches long by 42 inches wide.
The dining room and living room are attached. So it's one open area, part is living room, part dining room. My question is would a 34 inch wide light be too wide for this table? What is the max width I could have? |

| "My question is would a 34 inch wide light be too wide for this table?" Not if you think it looks good. "What is the max width I could have?" Whatever you think looks acceptable for your decor. Height over the table also comes into play. Having the bottom of the chandelier about one diameter above the table often seems to look good to many people. |
