| I am interested to install 4" recessed lighting above a counter top. Unfortunately this area does have popcorn ceiling. (it's in the future plan to remove them but not now)
I want to know will the trim look bad in anyway? There would be unsightly gap on the trim, due to the popcorn in the way. I could scrape off around the trim but I must do a clean job? For this reason I am considering tradition track lights, Can't decide yet. I am also interested in surface mounted puck lights that won't draw as much attention to the popcorn. |

| Puck lighting is for cabinets and would not be strong enough on a ceiling. They are also difficult and expensive to relamp. |

| poorowner- And when you get around to removing that popcorn ceiling, have it tested for asbestos first.... |
