Where should I start? Your favorite source?

Hi all,

Popping over from the kitchens forum.

Can you help me get started with selecting some reasonably-priced lighting fixtures? Lighting just isn't my thing!

What's your favorite lighting source?

I need 2 pendants for over a 72" island, a fixture for over a dining table in a casual, open floor plan, a living room fixture, and a master bedroom fixture.

I like lanterns of all kinds, glass globes, and clean, simple lines. I'm looking for finishes in the nickel/pewter family, the style is transitional/bright sunny cottage.

Any suggestions for a source or particular light would be greatly appreciated!

For inspiration, I use Rejuvenation HouseParts (I think it's rejuvenation.com), Restoration Hardware, and Pottery Barn.

Then try to find something similar on LightingUniverse.com or LightingbyGregory.com. Ballard's also often has stylish fixtures at a decent price.

Then that's exactly what I'm going to do...Thanks so much.
