Mixing fluorescent and incandescent lighting in kitchen

Posted by cgpsp (My Page) on

I'm using recessed lighting in the kitchen in my new construction home. My electrician recommended putting fluorescent lighting in the ceiling, and 4 inch mini-can incandescent lighting in the kitchen soffits for dimming.

How does it look when mixing? Can I use 2700K or 3000K fluorescent (will be the pin connectors) to make it match better?

Choose 2700K and higest color rendering index lamps you can get for the closest match to incandescent. It's best to closely match for this type of use.
