| Our kitchen will be 12 wide by 13 long. We would like pendants over the pennisula and recessed lighting in the kitchen. How many recessed light would be enough? We like the 4 inch cans. Any suggestion for type of light over table? Thanks.

| That's a simple question with a complex answer. How many lights (and what kind) will depend on a number of things, like what wattage cans you are considering, how high your ceilings are, whether you want task lighting, and what feeling you want overall in the kitchen.
