Are your LED recessed lights over your head

I have hard time to decide on the location of recessed cans in my family room. The room is 15x16, but a 10'x10.5' ceiling tray in the middle. I placed 4 cans in the tray, 3 cans outside the tray (one tv wall didn't have any can). I am not sure if I have enough light. I am also worry the 2 cans in the tray would be right over my head when I sit on my sofa. Do you recessed lights over your head? Is it uncomfortable?

Not over my head. However, if you use a light such as the CR6 or RT6, the light is sufficiently diffuse instead of being like a spotlight.
