We are remodeling a house with concrete ceilings and floors. The walls are steel beams. So, it is impossible to add another place to hang a chandelier. The dining room is 20 x 20 and will need a large table. If I do a rectangle I would like to have two chandeliers. Someone suggested to me that I could swag them from the center of the room where the main lighting source is. Has anyone ever seen this? I can't imaging how it would look. Thanks for your help.

"So, it is impossible to add another place to hang a chandelier." It is called surface mount raceway. Wire-mold is a common brand.

Yes, there is no way to add another place for another chandelier. I will check out the surface mount raceway. Thanks.
