Hi -

I just read an article dated May 2010 that talks about this new product. Anyone have feedback?

Lithonia LED cans have a lot more output for a lot less money.

Ordered one from HD, online, $50. Came last week.
Love it!
I need 30 more. Will be available in stores within next 30 days. The HD version supposed to last 35000 hours.

Be careful of the Home Depot CR6. I own a lighting store and from what I have heard Cree stripped down the components from what is being sold by electrical distributors / lighting stores. It is kind of like the difference between Hunter fans in the box store vs. the Hunter fans I buy.

I think price difference between a lighting store and HD on the CR6 is around $15 per unit. My recommendation is if you are buying something to last 15 years, you don't want to get it from a big box store.

Our Home Depot just got them in and I was able to use a 15% off coupon and purchased them for 42.46 each.
