This is for new construction, no wiring has taken place just yet. For whole home led lighting should I use led replacement bulbs in standard 120v fixtures, or a special 12/24 volt transformer system. I do not see the need to make the entire house lighting 12/24 volt, running all the lighting back to a system transformer powered by the service panel, when I could just wire like a normal lighting system 12/2 wiring, and using replacement LED bulbs. Is there something I am missing?
