Is there a clear winner for LED lighting where new wires will be run, but I don't want to open up the ceiling? i.e. a retrofit from a structural perspective but not an electrical one? I really like what switchlightbulbs is supposedly coming out with, but that's using a standard can, which seems like mostly a waste in my case since I end up with big transformers in the bulb. I have 10'9" ceilings, so beam spread shouldn't be too hard to get right (?) but color temperature is key.
