I'm in the process of building my first home, will also be a first time homeowner.

The kitchen is going to be approximately 10x12ft. (Pretty small from what I've heard.) It's a 1350sqft home tho. There will be a breakfast bar separating the kitchen from the dining room. With 2 pendants hanging over the bar.

Curious if 5 recessed lights would be sufficient to light this kitchen?? The ceilings are 9ft throughout the house. I will upload a picture of the floor plan if it helps with any input.
