brass won't rust, but it will tarnish over time. aluminum won't rust or tarnish.

my advice is buy GOOD quality fixtures that you can see and feel before purchase if you expect longevity. buying something online that all you can do is look at a picture may result in getting something you don't like.

what i do is i go find a product i like in a store and then go online to price shop it. if i can get it for enough savings online, then i buy it there. if not, i go get it locally.
