Or also, do you think 2 semi-flush fixtures with 75watts would be enough for general lighting in a 190 sq ft kitchen? These are the ones I'm thinking of, they are 12" high.

I think it will give off a decent amount of light. If you are set on that lighting, we would suggest spending a little extra on under cabinet LED strip lighting. This will light up your counter area, giving direct light only on that area. That way you wont have to worry about ceiling lights reaching to the counter, or shadow conflict. Hope this helps!
