painting a light fixture

Posted by deickhoff0 (My Page) on

I have a light fixture I want to paint. It is metal and part of the metal does get hot from the bulb. I'm considering spraying it with rustoleum but worry it may not hold up to the heat from the bulb causing the paint to peel. YES it is hot too touch. Hot enough you're not going to hold you hand on it. Anyone have experience with this or knowledge?

Thank you
