| Hello
Our electrician centered the foyer light in the foyer (between front door and entry to living space. I just noticed that the architect had the light 2 or 3 feet in front of front door. Is there common practice for foyer light placement? Thanks. |

| The answer will depend on how big of an area there is to be lit, how it is shaped and how you want it lit. Are you satisfied with how the fixture lights the foyer? For what ever it is worth my 2 story foyer has the light centered and it distributes the light quite well. I think that would be fairly common practice where one fixture is used.
