Has anybody seem something similar to this?

A friend told me that if you call and tell them what you want, they will put you on a list and call you if they get it. You need a lot of patience, but if your heart is set on it, it might be worth it.

I also found these while I was noodling around. This is a little fancier -- maybe worth a look:

Yours looks a little more rustic and country french, though.

This one is brass and porcelain but not painted. Maybe you can refinish the brass?

I also fell in love with a chandelier that is out of my budget. Maybe I'll get around to posting a picture of it and see if anyone knows where I can get a knockoff of a Currey & Company chandelier?
