I am planning on adding 6 cans (5-inch)... most of which will be mounted just off the countertop edge to prevent under cabinet shadows. The light above the sink is already installed. These lights will provide general lighting and some with serve as task lights.

For scale purposes: the lights along the sink counter are 4.3ft apart. The lights flanking the range are 6.5 ft apart.

Then the plan is to add 3 pendulums over the island. Alternatively, I could install 2 additional cans over this area.
