Anything for shower besides can light?

Has anyone ever put a sconce or something crazy like a sconce in a tub/shower? I'm not real jazzed to open up the ceiling and screw around in the crawl-attic, as it is a 1924 house with some spooky old insulation up there.

FYI, I believe building codes don't allow non-enclosed fixtures in a shower or over a tub.

There is nothing in the National Building Code that prohibits surface mount surfaces in a shower or tube area.
Saying that, local inspectors may have a different interpretation.
The fixture must be protected on a GIF circuit.
KIchler and Zaneen are two companies that have a "wet" location approved fixture, but I'm sure there are many more
