| We're actually using the room as a music room with a grand piano and other assorted instruments in it. I would like to put a fancy light fixture in the center of the room. The room is about 14'x16' and the ceilings are 10' high. Can I use a hanging chandelier in here or should I use a semi flush mount? People will be walking under it, and I obviously don't want anyone to hit their head! Also, any suggestions about width/diameter? I can only find formulas for chandeliers over tables.
Thanks so much! :-) |

| Have you perhaps considered a deluxe ceiling fan with a light fixture? Casablanca has some very nice combinations. We have one over our dining room table and it cost around $1,300.00. |
