| Before I have had a chance to research what lighting brands are best my local store, we only have one, is having a major sale. Some brands are Kichler, Hudson Valley, Seagull, Minika, Hinckley, Hubbardton forge, Progress...... does anyone know or can anyone direct me to a place to find out how these brands compare in regards to quality... where they are made, etc.. sale is ending so need to pick some out soon..... |

| Hudson Valley & Hubbardton Forge are both very high end. Kichler, Minka are a good value mostly in residential fixtures. Progress & Seagull are both good value and are in commercial and residential. Hope that helps. Some that I would recommend looking into as well are Golden, Maxim, etc. Here is a site with a good selection. |
