I have read everything that the search feature here provides about LED can spacing, but have not thus far located anything referring to 10 foot ceilings. Also, in other threads here, I am reading about desired lumens per square foot for the overall room, but actual spacing info seems somewhat vague (except for kitchens).

When we built our current home, I was able to use layout recommendations published by the manufacturers and everything came out perfectly. For some reason, I am not finding that the LED manufacturers are providing that kind of helpful layout info. I think the cans (incandescent BR30's) are spaced 6 feet apart in our current LR (8.5' ceilings), and closer to 3 feet apart in the kitchen (8'). Would I have the same result with LED (thinking CR6) or would spacing be greater due to the taller ceilings?
