 o
looking at light bulbs in pendants?

This may seem like a weird question, but does it bother anyone to see lightbulbs under their pendants? I like the look of the "dome" pendants over our kitchen island and table (look like inverted bowls with the lightbulbs inside, open on the bottom). But I was wondering if you're sitting under them at the island and table, or working under them, would being able to see the bare lightbulbs be glaring or distracting? I'd appreciate your experience and thoughts on this. (I'll cross post this on the kitchen forum as well.)

I see lightbulbs under floor lamps, table lamps, ceiling spots and pendants. And visible bulbs are part of the design of most chandeliers. I don't see a problem.

For your application you should consider using dimmers to control light output if they will work with the bulbs.
