| We live in an older house circa 1965. The circuit breaker tripped, was reset and was okay for around 24 hrs. Lights went off again but the breaker wasn't tripped. Replaced the breaker switch-nothing happened. Checked all circuits with voltage sensor. All lights are receiving power as well as switches and outlets. Replaced a bad outlet-still have no lighting in kitchen and bath. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go from here? |

| It's going to be a troubleshooting issue. Hire a licensed electrician to trace it out. Too many possibilities. Having done this for 20 years, I can tell you I have seen just about everything, so anything could be the root cause. The quick check is too make sure all your brakers are really on. Some can fool you by being tripped and not looking like it. Mike |

| I agree, hire an electrician for the work. He will have the appropriate tools and experience to identify and fix the problem. Your problem could be from a loose connection, poor ground or some of that aluminum wire. Can't tell from here. |

| Make sure the lamps are appropriate for the fixtures because internal thermal switches may turn fixtures off especially when the lamps are recessed or enclosed. |
