| Boy I still get confused on this! We are building right now, all new construction. We have decided we'd like CREE LED lights in the house. The electrician said he'd install whatever lights I want, I am purchasing all lighting, he just installs them (and of course does all the other wiring) This is because I wanted to pick out every single light in the house from different sources etc... Anyways, so we're getting close to starting the electrical work and I am wondering, what is the difference between the CR6 and the LR6? Money is always tight of course, but should I just have them install regular cans (significantly cheaper) and then install the CR6 in them when they come out? Or am I much better off with the LR6?

| If you are subject to energy efficiency laws, you need to get the cans with the GU24 base. If you are really watching the budget, CR6 is the way to go. |
