Our kitchen remodel is going full tilt...today the electrician is coming over and I must decide what type of lighting goes over the island. The ceiling is vaulted and the style of the kitchen is art/crafts vertical grain fir cabinets, oil rubbed bronze hardware, subway tile backsplash...I need help!!

Should I get an island light for the island or have 2 pendant lights for over the island...need them to be period style ( not mission ).

I need the sockets to accomodate 100w bulbs.

Thanks

I agree, pendants area very personal type of choice. I never spec out ones I like for my clients due to the fact that they may not like what I like. Also how big is your island? Do you think 2 pendants will be enough?
