We are in the process of replacing the front porch of our home, which is 100 years old. We are trying to decide on lighting. The porch is 28 feet wide and 8 feet deep. I want to put a center hanging fixture in and am wondering if that is enough or if I need to add two recessed lights, one in the right section, one in the left. I thought about a wall light next to the door, but it would have to go on the left and then it would be too close to the center light.

If I only do a center light, just wondering if that would light up the entry stair enough.
