How much lumens lost on frosted vs clear

Picked up some Alzak housings for our 4" Cans. Turns out the housing won't take the existing Par bulb and it is replaced with a BT15 bulb. How much light output - lumens is lost when going with a frosted over a clear bulb.

Methinks I may just go clear....and see how weird or not it looks in the can

It depends on the thickness and material used for the frosted surface.

The CR4 (ECO4-575 ) would be a better investment.
