Challenged! Peninsula Lighting. See Pic included.

I am adding a peninsula and I need to add lighting over it. My challenge is the cabinet and the cathedral ceilings. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

I assume you are adding the peninsula where the blue tape is?

What specifically are your challenges/concerns? What kind of lighting you ideally want? Some pendant lighting could go well here. They make adapters to accommodate the sloped ceiling angle if the fixture doesn't accommodate natively.

My challenge is complimenting the existing light fixture you can't see (pic attached). I want to do a form of a pendant. Since the peninsula is 48" inches off the wall, would two petite pedinants be too much? Also, I am challenged with finding black with red. Would a nickel finish look goofy next to a black electrical plate for the existing light?
